Exhibition in Kensington


For the very first time a selection of masks and puppets are going on display in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea at the Isaac Newton Centre. Curated by Neil Huntingford, Education Services Manager, the display includes a set of Indonesian masks and wall mounted masks as well as papier mache masks, marionettes and a costume used by Singh Theatre. There are explanations of provenance and the display goes from the 1st to 19th October 2007 as part of the Borough's Black History Season. The address is 108a Lancaster Road, W11 1QS and the exhibition is free to visit and can be viewed Mon-Fri 9.0am-5.0pm
