You can take any idea or set of ideas from any set of stories and or songs and ask Rani to adapt it to any format or length in whatever medium; live performance, radio, television, or print. There is no fixed agenda because in the true South Asian tradition of the Sutradhar,(the storyteller,) Rani Singh is absolutely flexible and can devise to order, given enough time, enough verbal communication, and a clear brief in writing.

Singh Theatre hosts visiting groups in Acton, makes one-off or day-long visits to venues, and often is resident artistic group in schools for several sessions. In such cases it is possible to coach the participants towards their own version of an epic sometimes in collaboration with the music, dance, drama and art departments.

Singh Theatre enjoys collaboration with other artists from any discipline or nationality and welcomes such opportunities; especially if it leads to the creation of new material.

With one-off visits, there is plenty of scope to follow up by writing a story from one character’s point of view, or painting a face from a puppet.

It is important to be specific about audience size, age, seating arrangemants and technical facilities. These aspects need to be discussed in detail.

Bookers should feel no inhibition in making specific requests as Rani is multidisciplined and will always cooperate to provide editors and planners with what they require.

Physical and mental disability is no bar as Rani has plenty of experience of working with all ability levels and those with behavioural disorders.

A hundred per cent success rate over twenty four years is an exemplary record for Singh Theatre.

Summer 2003 Rani made an historic visit to each of the thirteen Libraries in the London Borough of Camden as part of a scheme to encourage literacy, performing with puppets to toddlers and over 5s with a range of stories and songs. The libraries were running competitions to accompany Rani's visits. She was well received and newspapers printed good reviews.
